Priceline Hotel: Is there a better time to bid?

This is a general question as I have been trying top snag a deal another

poster was able to get to no avail. The dates are 5/21-5/25 for a three star in Dc near the

convention center. Nada. What am I doing wrong?

I think you were refering to this Priceline Washington DC thread which was appearing in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins for your dates, but had the wrong date in the topic title... so isn't ultimately for the same dates as your own. If you were referring to a different thread please provide a link.

But to also answer your question above, there is no 'right' time of day to place your bid... the system doesn't work so that bids placed at 2pm have a better chance than bids placed at 5pm which have a better chance than bids placed at 8pm, etc, etc.

How high have you bid for this stay already? How high are you willing to bid? Is this the only zone you're willing to accept?

Thereuare,

Thank you. I have seen some bids for my dates, 5/21-5/25 and bid every day up to 115 dollars for anywhere from a three to four star. I finally got something but it is so much higher than what another person got that I was just curious. I could take any zone in DC proper though I also included Crytsal City. Wacky.

Thank you for responding.
