Hotwire Hotel: Quick trip to NOLA April 12th; need advice

Just registered, thank you so much for your site.

Taking my son to NOLA tomorrow for a quick trip. He is 16, we have been many times and stayed all over the place. The big canal street properties are not for us. We would rather have authentic and quirky. A pool and jacuzzi would be nice, and available street parking. We plan to listen to Jazz on Frenchman street so something on that side of the quarter would be good.

Hotwire has:

3.5 that I think is the Chateau Bourbon because it is non smoking

3 which lists pool and high speed internet

2.5 which has Boutique and restaurant.

and a Garden district 2.5 which might work.

What do you think? Thanks!

The 3* on HOTWIRE $59

A property with just these two amenities has not yet been reported to the board, but if you change your search to 3adults/0children a 'new' 3* hotel in this zone appears for the same $59/nite with: Pool, Restaurant, Laundry, Internet.

Both the Holiday Inn French Quarter and Holiday Inn Chateau Lemoyne have been reported with this amenity combination so either of these would be my best guess.

Given the same price point as the 2adults/0children property, I'll also speculate that these are the same hotel, but if you're interested in trying to target one of these Holiday Inn properties it would be better to purchase as 3adults since it is the 'stronger' match for previous reports of these properties.
