Priceline Hotel: Maui hotel april 20-23

Hi I am looking for a hotel in Maui for the april 20-23. I would be happy with a 3.5star in zone 1 or 4. I am not sure if at what price to start bidding or if should just spend a little more and try to get a resort in one of these areas instead.

Since the order of the zones can change as new zones are added or the existing zones are re-named, please use the zone names, and not numbers, to avoid any confusion for future readers of this thread.

I'm assuming that you're looking at the Kaanapali-Lahaina or Wailea-Makena zones? If so, i'm guessing that your budget won't likely be enough for a 4* hotel in either of these zones for your dates... however, if you want to try that route first we'll be happy to suggest a strategy for you to follow, or one at the 3.5* level if you want to go directly for that first.

Ultimately it depends upon your budget and what you're looking for from this stay.

Thanks for your response, I am looking at the Kaanapali-Lahaina or Wailea-Makena zones, I don't need a 4* the 3.5* level will be sufficient, can you suggest a strategy for that, I would like to spend up to 120 at most per night, if possible.

At the 3.5* level you have TWO re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)

I tried all the methods stated below but had no luck, so I just used my airline discount and booked a hotel as it was too close in time to try again with priceline
