I'm attending a conference at the Chicago Hilton. The dates are 5/26-29.

4*: $139. Amenities include: fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet

3.5*: $135 with Bed choice, fitness, restaurant, business center, high speed internet.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

The 3.5* has not yet been ID'd. I'll guess that it may be the Hotel Blake.

The 4* could be either the Hilton or the Hyatt McCormick Place - definitely something of a roll of the dice, as the Hyatt is a ways South of the city and not convenient. There is a 3.5/5 tripadvisor rating on the detail page and that's a match for both properties, so no way to narrow it down.

Personally, I'd much rather recommend staying North of the Hilton instead of at the Hilton or possibly South of it - the Loop area (although especially the South and West Loop) is quite quiet at night.

There's a lot of varying options discussed below - both South of the river in the Loop and North of the river in the NMA area - although the Wyndham special for a 1BR executive suite for $119 would really be a particularly good deal.

If you would like to be in the Loop, alternate suggestions:

The Silversmith - $138 via Orbitz, and coupon code FABSAVE10 takes 10% off.

Additionally, the ritzy Standard Club in the Loop (a very upscale private club that has a small set of rooms) is $160 on Orbitz, although coupon code FABSAVE10 takes an extra 10% off. There's also a 4* on HOTWIRE in the Loop w/Boutique, Restaurant, Hi-Speed Internet, Business for $133, which may be the Allegro or Burnham (although the Burnham would seem more likely) both are nice Kimpton properties. The Standard Club, the Silversmith or the possible Allegro/Burnham would be Loop suggestions.

The Silversmith and Standard Club (as well as the Burnham or Allegro) are going to be in the Loop, so the area around these hotels are going to be quiet at night, but a bit closer to some restaurant options than the Hilton. If you went further North - such as to the suggestions North of the River below - it would be a short cab ride to/from the Hilton each day, but there would be far more restaurant/nightlife options.

North of the River:

A truly awesome deal North of the River would be the Wyndham - which has a special on Expedia for $129 for a 1BR Exec Suite. Use coupon code 10WINTER for $10 off per night = $119.

Additionally, there's a 4* in the North Michigan Ave area w/fitness, business restaurant internet for $109 (possibly the Allerton, Drake, Westin or Knickerbocker) and a 4* in the Mag Mile area for $113 w/Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business Center (Sheraton, likely.) While the Sheraton isn't my favorite property in the city, it's well-located.

Please use the site's HOTWIRE, PRICELINE or Orbitz.com or Expedia.com links to start your purchases and searches.
