Accepted - got Hertz.

Realized I put in wrong p/u date.

Called Priceline and explained the mistake.

(To complicate things, I was making the arrangements for a friend who's had a death in the family)

Priceline was great, said they'd cancel and refund to her card, as long as I re-bid and re-won within a 48-hr period.

Bid $9 CVG mid-size. (I feel dumb about this now. PL was so great - why didn't I just bid $10?)

Received a message - up bid to $11 and it will be accepted.

I denied and rebid $10 standard.

Denied.

24-hrs later, bid $11 midsize.

Won.
