osubrutus Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 June 11-14thI just bid on a four star hotel in the NMA zone with my bid being rejected at $100. I rebid adding Lincoln Park as a four star free bid and was rejected at $115, I then added the loop zone at $120 and was given the Hotel Burnham. I don't know a lot about the hotel but it looks nice online. I noticed on their website it was priced at $310 per night.

AaronJB Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 This is an extremely good win - the Burnham doesn't show up as a win all that often, and this is a particularly good rate for this property. The hotel is a very historic property, and considered one of the first "skyscrapers" when it was originally built by Daniel Burnham in the early 1900's. It was completely renovated by Kimpton and many of the fine details of the original architecture were either recreated or restored. Overall, one of Chicago's nicest 4*'s.
