yiled Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 So this is the first time I tried to book a on priceline. I was looking for a 4 star downtown hotel in mid may. I tried 70, it took the offer and told me what the total charge for 3 nights would come out to be. But before proceeding with next, I was just curious and decided to use the back button to go to the initial page and try a lower number. So I tried 50 and it rejected, but still gave me a chance to re-offer. I tried 60, it worked and took me to the same page with the 3 nights stay summary. Then I back up once and tried 55, it was also accepted. It even accepted 45, which was BELOW my initial rejected offer of 50!! Is this some bug or am I just going to get turned down later? It seemed too good to be true. Sorry for the confusing description, I hope it made sense to you. Thanks for any input.
yiled Posted April 7, 2010 Author Report Posted April 7, 2010 Nevermind, I clicked next and found out that it wasn't a real 'acceptance."
