jimdsail Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 I am trying to secure a 5* in Las Vegas for 5/19-5/21. I used free bid zones several times hoping to get Wynn or Venitian in "Strip North" for $100 or less. On my first few bids ($69-$80) i recevied a counter offer for $145 a night, which i obviously declined. My subsequent re-bids ($84-$93) did not receive a counter nor a denial. Instead, i got a message saying unfortunately they couldn't accept my bid and showing me the priceline retail options for my dates. Has anyone seen this before? Any advice on my efforts to get a 5* in Strip North for less than $100 like i've done on more than one previous occasion?
MurtleCake Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 Too low I guess! I have gotten that before. If you went to maybve 120-135 you might get it. That happened to me in another state, they countered and I bid like $10 under and it took it. That would be a denial I guess? Or they don't have any rooms?
