laceymari44 Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 HotwireAmenities:ResortSuiteCasinoFitness CenterPoolRestaurantBusiness CenterHigh Speed InternetGolfTennisSpa90% RecommendedHoping to stay at the Venetian or Palazzo but of course would be okay with the Wynn. Also, Hotwire is showing this hotel for 4/8-4/10 for $158 but if you add 4/11 it jumps to $189 per night. But if you search separately you can get 4/8-4/10 for $158 and 4/11 for $189. Same amenities and everything. Too risky? Thanks!
laceymari44 Posted April 5, 2010 Author Report Posted April 5, 2010 I forgot to add that I have also been bidding on Priceline for Las Vegas North for the same dates, started at $100 and added $5 each bid until I hit $150 and no bites! Not even a counter offer? Is this normal? It doesn't look like the retail rates are out of the ordinary.
AaronJB Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 Any time the trip is purchased in separate parts with HOTWIRE or PRICELINE, there is the chance that it could surprise and turn out to be a different hotel. I believe this happened with another Vegas user a month or two ago. I'm guessing the difficulty with PRICELINE bidding may be due to what appears to be a busy last night of this period. The HOTWIRE listing could be either the Venetian or Palazzo, although it is showing a tripadvisor rating for 4/8-10 and not 4/10-11. The 4/10-11 night is now showing this listing for $226 when I search. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thephelps Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 right now there is a priceline deal breaker special for a 5* north strip hotel for $109/night.
thereuare Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Note that the PRICELINE deal is not for the OP's dates... which have passed. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
laceymari44 Posted October 14, 2010 Author Report Posted October 14, 2010 Ended up going through hotwire and got the Venetian4/8/10-4/10/10$158 a night = $316 + taxes and fees $46.29 =$362.29
