Priceline Hotel: Resort Kauai (Kapaa-Lihue-Koloa) Sheraton

Hello,

I'm trying to book a resort in Kauai for April 20-27th. So far, I've tried up to $115 with the various zones. Looking over past successes, it looks like a lot of people have been able to get resorts at $110 or less. Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated.

My max is probably around $130 a night.

Hotwire's going to be my last resort I think.

I've noticed that the "retail" price that they quote you when entering your bid fluctuates throughout the day. Does a lower "retail" price indicate that a lower bid may be accepted at that point in time?

The retail price variation would likely not indicate improved chance of a win.

Update:

After trying everyday since making this post and going as high as $140. I was just accepted at the Sheraton for $125 a night.
