WISHING I HAD DONE SOME RESEARCH BEFORE BOOKING OUR FLIGHT AS A SUPRISE BIRTHDAY PRESENT TO MY HUSBAND I AM STUCK IN VEGAS ON A WEEKEND. THE TICKETS WERE REALLY CHEAP DURING IFLY 48 HR SUPER SALE ($64 EACH WAY FROM SC) BUT, HAD I ONLY KNOWN HOW BAD WEEKENDS ARE IN VEGAS...lol

WE ARRIVE THURSDAY NIGHT (1130PM) ON MAY 19TH

DEPART LATE SUNDAY NIGHT MAY 22ND (12:30AM MONDAY)

SO I AM LOOKING FOR A ROOM FOR 3 NIGHTS THURS, FRI, SAT.

ANYWAYS, I HAVE EXHAUSTED MYSELF LOOKING FOR THE BEST PRICES AND WONDERED WHAT THIS COULD BE WHEN IT CAME UP. ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATED. WE ARE ON A TIGHT BUDGET AND I WOULDN'T HAVE DONE THIS HAD HE NOT ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO VEGAS.

2 1/2 STAR CASINO, RESTAURANT, POOL, FITNESS, SPA, BUSINESS CENTER

ANY SUGGESTIONS WHERE ELSE TO TRY ??

THANKS!

TAKE CARE,

LISA

You didn't say which zone of Vegas this hotel is in, but based upon a HOTWIRE search i just did i'm showing a similar property at $86/nite... is that the price?

If so, this hotel has not yet been identified, but i would be cautious... besides being leary of a unknown 2.5* property from Hotwire, the 'boundaries' of the strip go far from the 'action' of where you want to be for a first time trip to Vegas (i'm assuming this is your first Vegas trip based upon your comments above)

If the above price is correct, i'd sooner go with the Imperial Palace for $89/nite which puts you right in the center of the strip. It's not a super luxury resort like some of the mega-resorts that have been popping up all over Vegas, but it's got a great location and the reviews seem to be very good lately (admittedly about a year ago they were awful).

Let us know if the above works for you. If not, let us know what else it is you're looking for and we'll continue to help.

PS- please don't type in all-CAPS, it makes it harder to read, thanks

Hi !

Thanks for responding. Sorry about the caps, the billing system I deal with needs caps so they are just always on so I didn't even realize...

Is the Imperial on Hotwire ? I did not see that on the list. If not where are you seeing it for $89 a nite?

Thanks!

Lisa
