Hotwire Hotel: 4* Orlando (Disney Main Gate-Celebration) Holiday Inn Club Vacations

Hi There,

After going to Hotwire through link provided here I have found a property of interest in Orlando but was hoping to narrow down which property it is.

It is a 4 star property, located in the Disney Maingate/Celebration area. It is for travel Sept 30 - Oct 3 2010

It has the following listed amenities

Condo, resort, studio, fitness, pool, restaurant, business, laundry

It is listed for $64 per night.

My best guess based on my own research would be Caribe Cove, but would certainly love a professional opinion

I belive that you don't have listed all amenities for the hotel. If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all amenities" link under the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above?

Sorry yes, it then shows, golf nearby, and high speed internet in addition to those previously mentioned

I'm sorry to say that a 4* property with this amenitie combo has not yet been reported/ID'd to the board.

It could be that the Holiday Inn Club Vacations got an upgrade to 4* but this is just a guess.

Thanks for the advice, I was a little worried that might be the case. I am not sure it is, as on normal HOTWIRE purchase the Holiday Inn is still listed as 3.5 stars but you never know. Since we are still so far out I will hold off for now and keep this thread updated with my result.

The "normal" HOTWIRE isn't like it used to be. They use diffrent zones and star ratings now so you can't compare with that.

Just wanted to update this. I ended up booking this and indeed you were correct it is the Holiday Inn Vacation Club @ Orange Lake. I wrote to Hotwire after to inquire how a property that is listed by them, their parent company Expedia and trip advisor (who they advertise on their site) as a 3.5 star property could be awarded as a 4 star property. They replied saying they take the average of Expedia, Travelocity and Orbitz (the latter 2 who rate it 4 stars on their sites) Anyway thanks for your help.
