I wanted a 4* in the Millennium Park area from 5/28/2010 - 5/29/2010 for a birthday gift to myself so I devised the following bid strategy:

No more free re-bids, try again on 4/3/2010:

$70 Millennium Park ACCEPTED!

I checked Expedia and the same room runs $203.15. Nice savings! :)

This property is in the West Loop - this is definitely a quiet area at night, but is fine during the day. This property was renovated/remodeled last year, and it was a pretty dramatic renovation - this used to be a VERY dark (which was actually kinda neat, as it was such an extreme difference from most properties in the city) property (both in terms of color and lighting), but they redid the halls and rooms. The main lobby/living room still looks the same (and has rather interesting architecture - this was previously a historic/older property, and was turned into the W around 2000 or so.)
