Which was a surprise- I've bid 3 times this year for 3.5* at LAX and got Crowne Plaza every time.

Hilton's internet price is $12.95 for 24/24. I'm starting to think maybe it's better to bid for 3* as internet generally is free. Is this the right place to put internet, parking etc prices for these hotels?

You can definitely post internet and parking rates within this thread. I think in terms of 3.5*/4* vs 3*, I think there are some really terrific 3*'s in many major areas and many terrific 4*'s in many major areas. I think it's a matter of what one needs on a particular trip, and sometimes a 3* will work best (and as you noted, quite a few 3*'s offer free internet), while other times a more upscale 4* may be more fitting for the stay.
