I bid $50 for a 3.5* in the Anaheim Disneyland area. Got rejected. Will try again, but it told me to change an area or dates. I can't changes the dates and don't want any other area. How long do I need to wait to re-bid?

Any ideas you can share will be helpful!

Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread... if you ultimately use PRICELINE we'll move this thread to that section of the board.

You have to wait 24 hours between bids, but this is where the strategy of re-bidding comes into play. Since you're trying for a 3.5* hotel... what if you added a zone which only contains hotels which are rated 3* and under... you could add such a zone and be assured of not receiving a hotel there since there are no hotels in the zone which meet your minimum star rating criteria :)

See this thread: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained which details how to determine the star ratings available in each zone. Since, i'm assuming, this concept is new to you, it's highly recommended you confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. (HINT: you have FOUR re-bid zones when bidding 3.5* i this area)
