Priceline Hotel: 4* Seattle (Downtown-Pike Place) The Edgewater

I just stayed at the Edgewater on Sunday and Monday night, March 28th and 29th. Bid $55, with the Entertainment Book contributing $10 per night for a total of $65.00 for 4* in PIKE area.

A couple of tips you might find useful. First the room you'll get will be overlooking the parking lot. They offered me an upgrade to waterfront for $50 per night. I'd seen on another board that someone else negotiated it down to $30 per night, so I said, "$50 extra would be fine if you'll throw in the valet parking". They said they couldn't do that so I said, 'okay, how about $30." They said okay since you're staying 2 nights.

I got a waterfront King, room 142. It was worth every penny of the extra charge.

Now about parking. There's a parking garage on the corner across from the entry. If you're not really going to be using your car during the day, you can park there for $10 on an early bird special. You go in at 8am and can park up to 10 hours for $10. That works great since the meters outside the parking garage on Wall Street and on Elliot are only active from 8am-6pm with no charge on Sundays.

We parked on the street from 6pm to 8am then put it in the garage until 6pm. The hotel has a shuttle that goes every hour for up to 1 mile. That's enough to take you to the space needle or the Pike's market if you don't want to walk. You can also call them and they'll come get you. That shuttle service is free.

The restaurant also has these really great bento box lunches in the restaurant. Great food and a great view.
