melrose011
I bid $45 for 3.5* 3/5/10-3/9/10 in Bethesda, MD and was rejected, so I changed my end date to 3/10/10 , rebid $48, and was rejected again. Then I added Silver Spring, MD and increased my bid to $58 and was still rejected. Are there any areas in DC that don't have a 3.5* star in their zone, which I can add on to my criteria so I can rebid before 24 hours? I'm trying to get the Hyatt Regency Bethesda...Any help is appreciated...Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
At the 3.5* level in the DC area you have TWO re-bid zones. However, you need to know how to determine these yourself as they can change at any time and need to be checked before each bidding cycle. If you blindly bid a re-bid zone suggested, it can change between the time posted and the time you bid, and you could end up in an area you didn't intend. The way to determine your re-bid zones is in this thread: Priceline Re-Bidding ExplainedPlease read the above and confirm your TWO re-bid zones with the board or ask any questions that you have. If you read the above and are confused let us know and we'll break it down further for you.Once you have your re-bid zones let us know your maximum bid and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
