wrigleyVACAY Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Was trying to get Golden Nugget for me and some friends, and knew from this board that that was the only 4* option in Fremont St so it was pretty risk free bidding and re-bidding with other non-4* zones. On 3/29 bid at $55, 60, 65, 70, and $75, all with counteroffers of $88.On 3/30 bid at $60 & $70 with counters of $88. Then bid of $80 was accepted.Booked two rooms for 4/23-4/25. Realized I could've bid them separately and maybe saved a few dollars on one of the rooms, but figured it wasn't worth the hassle.Used the PRICELINE links here, thanks for all the help. Now need to call Golden Nugget directly and add in notes that we desire two queens in each room and connecting rooms. From talking to Golden Nugget directly, they couldn't guarantee these options even if we booked directly with them so decided just to use PRICELINE since it's all decided at check-in anyways.
