nycnyc Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 3/29 First attempt: Tried bidding $65 for a 4 star hotel for 4/2-4/4 (Easter Weekend) and was rejected. It asked me to rebid $17 more at $82. I declined. 3/30 Second attempt: Waited 24 hours and rebid at $72 for a 4 star and got the Hilton Convention Center for $72 + fees. Here is the breakdown of fees:Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $72.00Subtotal: $144.00Taxes & Fees: $28.58Total Charges*: $172.58This is amazing considering their fair market value rate is $170 a night right now. I already had the holiday inn booked at $132 a night (not incl taxes) as a backup.I used the PRICELINE link to get this hotel. Thanks better bidding!
