Hotwire Hotel: Folly Beach, SC

I'd like to bid for two rooms checking in Mar 31 and out Apr 2. Any comments on successful bids and whether HOTWIRE or PRICELINE is better.

The only national hotel in Folly is a Holiday Inn, I think you would have a better chance in Charleston.

PRICELINE is usually a little cheaper than HOTWIRE, but HOTWIRE lets you know the amenities before your purchase (so you can know beforehand if a hotel is beachfront, offers beach access, has a restaurant, etc). So which service is "best" really depends upon your needs/goals for this stay... if lowest price is the objective and you can accept a hotel anywhere within the shaded boundaries of the zone, then PRICELINE is probably a good option. If there are certain features you want to ensure the hotel you receive has, or you want the ability to take a guess as to the hotel and/or location before your purchase, then HOTWIRE may be the better option.
