igotid Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 I'm just wondering what I can expect to pay for the Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore? We're debating staying there for a couple of nights or just renting a car and driving up there for the day while we stay in Honolulu. Thanks!
yellowdog Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE. You need to be willing to stay at any Resort in the zone you're bidding at.Please post your dates for the stay.Let us know how we can help you further.Yellowdog.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
BrianD4 Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Turtle Bay is the currently the only known resort hotel on the North Shore.
igotid Posted March 30, 2010 Author Report Posted March 30, 2010 I am just wondering if anyone here knew what people have historically paid for Turtle Bay. It seems to be the only hotel listed for the North Shore so I am pretty confident that's what I'd get but i know it's always a gamble. I've seen it on Hotwire for $159 a night and i've seen someone on here get it for the same price. I was looking to see if it ever goes any cheaper than that so I can gauge my bidding accordingly.Thanks.
igotid Posted March 30, 2010 Author Report Posted March 30, 2010 My dates of stay would be April 14th-16th.
thereuare Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 If you enter "Turtle Bay" (without the quotes) in the QUICK SEARCH box in the blue banner at the top of the board you'll see that historically, when available, this property has gone for ~$150-$200/nite.If you would like help with a bidding strategy let us know your maximum bid and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and your searches too! igotid Posted April 1, 2010 Author Report Posted April 1, 2010 Thanks for the info. In the meantime I've booked the night of April 24th (using PRICELINE) for the last night of our trip after we get off our cruise. I asked for a Resort in Waikiki Beach area and got the Hyatt Regency - Waikiki for $89. I'll let you know what I get when I book the 14th-17th.
