Priceline Hotel: Thr Royal Hawaiian Waikiki bid advice

Hello I will be in Honolulu for one night and would really like to stay at the Royal Hawaiian. Has anyone had any sucess bidding on this hotel. I'll be there 8/28/10. I believe Hotwire has it classified as a 5* hotel and rooms are $310.

(for which this hotel has only been reported once, and it was over 2 years ago, so a fairly low probability you'll be able to receive this property thru PRICELINE or HOTWIRE)

I did a search through PRICELINE and HOTWIRE and see the price of $310. I'll probably try to PRICELINE another resort. I'd like to stay at the Royal Hawaiian however don't know if it is worth the $$.
