Neither of the properties above have been reported to the board 'as-is'.

My guess for the 3.5* would be the Toronto Don Valley Hotel and Suites (previously the Crowne Plaza), although the amenities are fairly generic so there cold be other possibilities as well.

I don't have a guess for the 2* property.

Just curious - at those rates for low rated/low satisfaction hotels, why aren't you trying for a 4* on HOTWIRE or PRICELINE at likely not much more $?

Hi,

Unfortunately this weekend is the G20 summit - so apparently this accounts for 5,500 rooms being booked during this weekend, resulting in not much remaining for inflated rates!

I have tried though.

I ended up booking a B&B for CAD$90 just west of downtown - quite happy!
