thereuare Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you go to PRICELINE which zone(s) are you willing to accept? Is $75 your absolute maximum bid? We can suggest a strategy for you to try/follow, but note that $75 is usually not enough to win a hotel in Manhattan this time of year in any zone. Do you have a back-up plan?Let us know the above and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. sunnny hong Posted March 29, 2010 Author Report Posted March 29, 2010 Thank you for your reply1: I have no car so i want to travel by the subway in new york. the areas as following are acceptedCentral Park South Chelsea Area Empire State Building Area Madison Square Garden - Convention Area Midtown East Midtown West Times Square - Theatre District Upper East Side Upper West Side 2: I think the $75 is my max budget because i am a student.3: if the budget is not enougth, maybe the star of hotel is not important, 2 stars is also accepted.4: do you have any good suggestion? thank you
WPBdiver Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Try Hoboken NJ. In my experience, cheaper and better properties. Though you will have to commit to a bit of subway riding. From Hoboken, you can take the NJ PATH rail line to the NYC subway lines. I believe the World Trade Center stop is at times a non-stop from one of the PATH stations in Hoboken.
