Hotwire Hotel: ID 5* Barcelona 07/04/2010

Hi there,

Can someone please assist with ID'ing the following hotel for Barcelona, Spain:

5* Boutique, Oceanfront, Fitness Centre, Pool and Restaurants.

Dates: 4 July 2010 (1 night only).

Customer Reviews indicate 75% of customers recommend this hotel.

I am guessing it is most likely matching that of the W Barcelona ..... would I be close?

I'm assuming this is in HOTWIRE's Downtown-Marina-Les Ramblas zone?

A property with this amenity combination has not yet been reported to the board. While the W seems like a good guess, note that this property shows a 4.5/5.0 Tripadvisor rating whereas the current rating of the W Barcelona is 4.0/5.0. HOTWIRE's information is only a snapshot in time and not updated in realtime, so the 'live' TA rating may have been lowered since HOTWIRE's last update, but the difference in Tripadvisor rating would suggest a different property.

I'm going to to guess the Eurostars Grand Marina, which has been reported to the board previously at the 5* level, but unfortunately the user didn't report the amenities shown before purchase, so we don't know the amenties associated with it, although the above does seem to be a decent fit.

Yes that is right.

Thank you for your view regarding what this hotel may be. As you think this may be the Eurostars GM, I think I'll just sit tight and hope for the rate to drop down a 'little bit' more before I commit. If you said it was likely the W .... I would have tested my luck and gone for it (as the HW rate is currently ~50% less than booking direct with the hotel).
