Priceline Hotel: Advise for Chelsea, NYC, April 1-5

Hello,

We'll be in NYC between April 1-4 and are looking to stay in Chelsea since our friends are there.

Ideally looking for 3-star hotel for around $100.

Today I sent a bid for $90 that didn't went through (through your PRICELINE link).

After that I closed the browser and used the link again, but got a message for duplicate bid.

Would appreciate a strategy.

There are no rebidding options in NYC at the 3* level. If you were to include a couple of nearby areas besides Chelsea (such as ESB & MSG-Convention), that may increase your chances, but it would depend on how far you're willing to be. These dates do look quite expensive (HOTWIRE has Midtown 2.5/3*/3.5*'s for $200+), so my concern would be that $100 does not appear as if it's going to be enough for these dates.
