PRICELINE really made me work for this one! I have been bidding for 2 weeks with different combinations starting with a 4* & then 3.5* in either the White House or Capital Hill area without success. Finally around 2 a.m. yesterday, I bid $97 on 3.5 White House, $99 adding Capital Hill, $102 adding Dupont Circle. I knew HOTWIRE was offering the Hilton Washington in Dupont for $99, but went over that bid anyway since it was only by a few dollars. This is the hotel I expected, but was pleasantly surprised when I got Capital Hill. This seems to be the busiest week in DC, so I assume, the rates are a bit higher.

I am stoked that I got this room for $4 more than my original limit. As usual, I used this link to PRICELINE.
