SamsungBoy Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 I would like to stay in 4* hotels in TS or MTE on 6/2/10 - 6/4/10.I've started bidding from $131 and increased bid by $5 using free zones.the bid has gone up to $169 but still no luck.i am not sure if my bid is too low or too early to bid for june?by the way, i used a PRICELINE link for bidding.
thereuare Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding! If your bids are being rejected then at the moment your bids are not high enough. I don't think you're too far off at the moment, and you may ultimately need to bid higher, but i would chase this one at the moment given the 2+ months you have before your stay. However, is there a reason you're only bidding the MTE and TS zones? Are there a particular hotel(s) you're trying to avoid in the MTW, CPS, and/or ESB zone(s), as these areas are usually just as convenient as MTE and TS for the average visitor. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. SamsungBoy Posted March 28, 2010 Author Report Posted March 28, 2010 Hi and thanks for your inputs. After spending some time studying on 4* hotels in NYC, i have narrowed down to TS and MTE.Each zone has some hotels that i would like to stay away from but hotels in these two zones have far less avoidable hotels. (personal preference anyways)
thereuare Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 What is your maximum bid at this point in time? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
