Hi everyone,

This is my first time using this forum. I will be going to nyc from 3/30-3/31 and I want to get a hotel for no more $110 with 3 stars or above. We're going to see wicked on the 31st so I would like to stay close to the theatre and also near public transportation/subway so we can go to times square and other attractions. Any ideas on how I should bid on priceline will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

Is your budget $110 "all-in" (taxes/fees included) or $110 + taxes/fees? Additionally, are you willing to consider other PRICELINE zones near Times Square (such as MTE, MTW, MSG-Convention; you can see where these areas are on the area map on PRICELINE.) These areas will expand your chances and are usually more reasonable than staying in TS.

oh is there a significant difference between a 3* and 3.5* in these area.. 110 with taxes would be ideal. I would like good comfort. We're taking the bolt bus from Philadelphia to New york on march 30th and then staying the night (check out the scene) and then see the show on the 31st so not car.. Bolt bus drops us off at 34th and 8th. MTE MTW and MSG-Convention areas are fine. Empire state building would be something way too far.

Would we be able to get something nice for that much? when would hotwire be better for using. We wouldn't mind a pool/jacuzzi to relax with the night before the show. Thanks
