Warning - Read Confirmation carefully!

I think my date for stay was changed and got to hotel that was sold out in a city that was booked up and had no room. Folks behind me had put in for non-smoking and got smoking! A nice clerk admitted that she gets tired of dealing with angry people all day long, that this must happen on purpose? I have had some nice stays thru priceline, but this one nightmare made me realize that it is my responsibility to check the confirmation over with a fine tooth comb, in other words, if they mess up or alter the reservation and send confirmation later and I don't check, its my bad and they have a policy of giving you $10 off on your next stay. Wow, that would be a nice consolation after a night in your car:) Beware of this travel trap! This is only an opinion and They swore I put in that date and they have where I initialed the page? Giving them benefit of doubt that I messed up and put wrong date, message is same, check your confirmation or it is just too bad...
