Priceline Hotel: Help with Priceline/Hotwire NYC May 20-26

I actually live in NYC and my parents are coming for a visit in May. They are staying 6 nights, I would like them to stay in a nice hotel but, I dont want them to have to pay $500 a night. I would like them to stay CPS or below. What would be a good starting bid for a 3.5 - 4 star hotel?

Is the Downtown-Financial zone acceptable as well... or are you really looking for South of CPS and North of Chelsea and ESB?
