juc Posted March 23, 2010 Report Share Posted March 23, 2010 Started bidding on 3* at $53 in Vicksburg (hoping to get Marriott Courtyard) - rejected. Then changed to 2 1/2* and bid $61 - rejected. There are no other "free bid" areas to add with Vicksburg. I then tried 2* for $43 (there seemed to be a lot of 2*'s in Vicksburg*)* and was accepted at Fairfield Inn.Our stay went well. They had us in a king room, but were able to switch to 2 double beds. Used the PRICELINE link off Betterbidding.$43 + 11.94 taxes and fees = $54.94 total paid. Link to comment
