Hotwire Hotel: 3* Colorado Springs (North) Summerfield Suites

We are planning a trip to C/S on June 29 - July 7. Unfortunately this is a set family gathering that coincides with the 4th of July holiday. Prior experience has found that lodging in C/S can be a bit pricey.

I have found the following listing on Hotwire and wanted opinions on whether this is probably as good as it is going to get or should I wait closer to my time of travel.

North Colorado Springs Hotel (90% of reviews positive)

Suite, Breakfast, Fitness, Pool, Business Center, Laundry, Internet, Kitchenette.

This appears to be Summerfield Suites to me. I am new to this site, so just getting familiar with the info available. As a former resident of C/S, I know this is not really convenient area, but has good I-25 access.

Just looking for an experienced persons opinions.

This would appear to be a likely match for the Summerfield Suites. In terms of buying now vs. later, there is no way to know; if traffic comes in higher than expected or comes in as expected, rates may move higher (and in terms of HOTWIRE, different options may appear and/or listings may be removed completely). However, on the flip side, there is a likely realistic "floor" to the discounts for this property and I have to imagine that, at $45, there's likely more possible upside then there is possible downside, especially for a holiday weekend. Personally, at $45 for a holiday weekend, I'd suggest purchasing if your plans are confirmed.

Booked this reservation through Better Bidding and HOTWIRE. Will be staying 6/30 through 7/7 at the Summerfield Suites in Colorado Springs. $46 a night for a total of $361.14.

Very happy with the price and based on Tripadvisor reviews we expect our room to be nice also.

This is our first transaction through Better Bidding. Hope to make some more reservations for this coming trip.
