crb1963 Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 I was searching hotwire for a hotel and found one with the discriptionUniversal Orlando/Sea World area. 3 1/2 star, Restauarat, pools, fitness ctr.high speed internet, tennis nearby, business ctr. and laundry facilities. $82.00. Do you know this hotel and if searching for 4 adults can I be assured of two full sized beds or better? (Also, in hotwire confirmation they only guaranteed accomodations for 2 adults, though i searched for four?)

crb1963 Posted February 4, 2005 Author Report Posted February 4, 2005 2/9 - 2/15 I think we'd really like a suite of some sort, but I guess they are harder to come by. I saw a couple suites for 6 for $69-99 on your easy click site, but don't see any forums for that site to base past results for.
thereuare Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 If you go back to our EASYCLICK SEARCH TOOL and use the drop down menu on the left hand side you will see what we believe to be the identification of all the "off the record" deals in Orlando (we only used hotels that were rated 3* and above). I would also use the drop down list on the right hand side which are their non-opaque offerings.Note however that many of the hotel for your dates are "on request" which means they've already sold their allotment at that property and will need to contact the hotel directly to see if they can get more rooms at their contracted price. During 'normal' times they have been good at fufilling requests, during very busy times it's harder to get filled.Given that you're willing to spend $100 for a suite, i would sooner look for two rooms thru HOTWIRE at the $50+ level... cost you about the same and gives you a little extra room and an extra bathroom for the 3 adults to get ready.Orlando is probably one of the more 'family friendly' cities in the country for accomodating occupancy greater than two, but (imo) five is pushing it a little... some are willing to take that risk, others aren't, it's a decision you'll have to make for yourself. If you see anything on EasyClick that you can't identify and isn't in our drop down list, send me a PM and i'll try to help you figure it out.
