Travel dates April 9 - 12, 2010

First bid $54 rejected (Las Vegas Strip Vicinity South)

Second bid (24 hours later) $95 rejected (Las Vegas Strip Vicinity South)

Received invite to immediately rebid in same area 4* if bid was increased by $22

Ended up with the Luxor Hotel at $102/night.

Based upon the reviews, not too sure about this hotel.

If traveling these same dates, we would recommend booking directly through the website as the rate is almost the same and includes resort fees ($15).

Yellowdog.

PS. I would take the reviews with a grain of salt. It's not a bad hotel.

Don't worry the Luxor is alright. Casino was decent, pool is decent, our main fault with the place was that it was a pain in da ass getting to and from your room, especially if you are in the pyramid - you have to walk to one of the corners of the pyramid for an elevator and then walk (at least for us) back half way down the pyramid to get to your room. Overall it's not that bad of a place - just get your walkin' shoes on.
