Priceline Hotel: Resort Palm Springs (Rancho Mirage-IW) Renaissance

I am trying to get a palm springs / Indian Wells resort for this date. I tried priceline now up to 105 $, always rejected. Two years ago I stayed in the Marriott Desert Springs Resort for 70$, but this time no way. I saw in the priceline list the Indian Wells Resort 3*. If I chooce resort in Indian wells, is it possible to get also this only 3* resort ? How can I be sure to get one of the 4* resorts, like the Marriott or the Hyatt grand Champions ? Does anyone know a good price for one of these hotels ? I wolud be disappointed to pay about 120 $ on priceline and then I get the Indian wells Resort....

Please help me with this very hard deal in Palm Springs...

If the Indian Wells is still rated 3* then you will not receive it if you keep your bid at 4* or higher.

Are you only looking for the Indian Wells zone (and not the 'plain' Palm Springs Zone)?

March is high season in Palm Desert/Indian Wells: back-to-back tennis and golf tournaments all month long, starting on 3-7. It'll probably take around $115 to get one of the resorts on PL, but you better hurry. Availability will be limited.

Thanks a lot... I got it right now... 115 $ for the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort . Nice looking resort. Forget me bidding history, starting at 60 $ since about 12 days.... Tried and tried and tried, at 110$ counteroffer for 144 $
