D.T. Posted March 20, 2010 Author Report Posted March 20, 2010 Its the only 3.5 hotel in the area. Ive already bidded like 75 and that didn't work. I dont want to pay more then 90 a night if possible. And being a 3.5 I thought i wouldn't have to bid so much, as Ive gotten 4 stars for a lesser price.
AaronJB Posted March 20, 2010 Report Posted March 20, 2010 The hotel has not yet been reported to the board. If it does participate with PRICELINE, it may not have inventory for these dates if they are expensive. What date/s are you looking for? Does HOTWIRE have anything of interest when you search?Thank you for using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.
D.T. Posted March 20, 2010 Author Report Posted March 20, 2010 thanks for the response...its not on HOTWIRE yet, and from my experience HOTWIRE was never that cheap. I'm looking around the 15-16th of April to the 18th.
thereuare Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 ...being a 3.5 I thought i wouldn't have to bid so much, as Ive gotten 4 stars for a lesser price. What you've paid for a 4* hotel in other regions/zones isn't a good measure for what it may take in this particular zone. With rates at $200+ your maximum bid is still under half of a conventionally booked room... not an unheard of discount, and is worth trying, but certainly not a win to be expected, imo. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Colete00 Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 It is a great hotel, very nice. It is the only nice hotel in the area, so I imagine you will get it if you try. I will say however are you sure it is rated as a 3*, I am pretty sure it would be a "resort"
D.T. Posted March 28, 2010 Author Report Posted March 28, 2010 yeah sorry about that...its rated a 3.5 on PRICELINE...
