livsamismum Posted March 19, 2010 Author Report Posted March 19, 2010 Done!We were hoping to see a 4 1/2 star for Montreal as we have heard it usually is Le Crystal, but it isn't showing up at this time. Our dates will be March 19-21st.
thereuare Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 Done! Please check our support page for your future hotel direct purchases. Our dates will be March 19-21st.Are you still seeing the original property above on a current HOTWIRE search... i'm not seeing the previously listed property when searching HOTWIRE for your dates. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and your searches too! livsamismum Posted March 19, 2010 Author Report Posted March 19, 2010 i just used your HOTWIRE link to do the search again, and yes the 4* appears at $119 per night Downtown Montreal, with the following amenitites: fitness ctr; restaurant; business ctr; high speedrecommended in 80% of customer reviewsthank you
livsamismum Posted March 19, 2010 Author Report Posted March 19, 2010 one more thing...I am searching 2 adults and 2 children....maybe that is why you couldn't see it?there is now a 3 1/2 star showing as well 70% recommended with the following amenities:fitness ctr; swimming pool; restaurant;business ctr; high speed; spa; childrens activitiesthanks
thereuare Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 Yes, the occupancy difference can bring up different HOTWIRE offerings...The amenity combination for the 4* matches multiple properties... the Embassy Suites, Le Centre Sheraton, Hilton Bonaventure, Hyatt Regency, InterContinental have all been reported with this amenity combination in the past, so any of these would be my best guess. The 3.5* matches previous reports for the Delta Montreal so that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know which you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
livsamismum Posted March 23, 2010 Author Report Posted March 23, 2010 we ended up going through Expedia rather than taking the risk with HOTWIRE in a city we're not that familiar with! I tried to go through your "support" area but Expedia.ca doesn't show up - and the prices are a little different.thanks for all your help, we will be going back to Montreal and now that we know which area/hotel we would like to be in will probably use HOTWIRE.
thereuare Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 Thanks for 'closing' this thread with your decision.Glad you found something you're happy with and which works well for your needs.Enjoy your stay.
