KaOTiKM3 Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 If anyone could help me to identify this property, I would appreciate it. The particulars are as follows:4*3/25-3/30It says boutique and business center. Also has a 4.5/5.0 rating on Trip Advisor.Price is $169 per night. Thanks
thereuare Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Unfortunately a property with this amenity combination has not yet been reported to the board.Morgans, Affinia Dumont, Giraffe Hotel, Kitano, Bryant Park Hotel all seem like possibilities, and i'm sure there are some others too. This price seem to be one of the lowest for a 4* hotel in any zone for these dates, and is even priced less than many of the other offerings for these dates, and given the 4.5/5.0 TA rating i'd feel pretty comfortable purchasing this one.Since this is a 5 nite stay you could see if this property appears for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the first (or last) nite in order to 'look behind the curtain' and learn the name of the hotel. If you're happy with the results go ahead and purchase the remaining nites of your stay, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your trip. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. KaOTiKM3 Posted March 19, 2010 Author Report Posted March 19, 2010 Thanks for the reply, I am playing around with my dates to try to get more choices.I see another property in the ESB area with the following, I would appreciate if you could help again:3/28-3/314*boutique hotelbed choicefitness centerbusiness centersmoke free roomssatisfaction is 4.5and customer reviews is 80% recommended. Thanks
thereuare Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 The above is a match for the Roger Williams Hotel so that would be my best guess. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. KaOTiKM3 Posted March 19, 2010 Author Report Posted March 19, 2010 I found the Hotel Chandler for $163 per night on avg on Expedia and can also apply the 10WINTER code to get an additional $10 off (thanks to the search function and this board). Do you recommend this hotel over the Roger Williams? It seems to get better ratings on Trip Advisor even though it is a 3.5 compared to the 4.0 stars of RW. Thanks.
thereuare Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 The Hotel Chandler seems to be a bit more consistent and for just about the same price (after the 10% Expedia discount) i'd probably go with that one. The location of the Chandler is also slightly better than the Roger Williams. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.... or if you move forward with the Hotel Chandler please use this link to Expedia to begin your purchase.Let us know what you decide or if we can be of further help. KaOTiKM3 Posted March 19, 2010 Author Report Posted March 19, 2010 Thanks thereuare, but did you mean the coupon is for $10 off a day (10WINTER) or is there another coupon for 10% off a day? Just want to make sure before I book it.
AaronJB Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 Expedia has 10WINTER for $10 off. Orbitz has WELCOME10/FABSAVE10 which take 10% off. Please use the site's HOTWIRE, PRICELINE, Orbitz or Expedia.com links to start your purchases and searches.
KaOTiKM3 Posted March 19, 2010 Author Report Posted March 19, 2010 I ended up booking the Hotel Chandler for $153 a night through the Expedia link on this site. Thanks for all the help.
AaronJB Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 Thank you for using the site's Expedia.com link and closing the thread. Enjoy your stay.
