gmk Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Bid $48 and it was rejected added a zone and bid $50 and it was accepted. Plus $15 for tax comes out to $65. I even used the PRICELINE link from betterbidding. Thanks for the great service you provide.

UAL123 Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Excellent price! Just one thing, normally prices are listed without taxes in the title of the thread. Maybe one of the moderators can change this.
thereuare Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Done! Thanks for letting us know. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
gmk Posted March 19, 2010 Author Report Posted March 19, 2010 I disagree the price paid should show in the headline. I am paying $65 they can break it up however they want the fact is that is the actual price. Priceline tells you this price before you bid.
thereuare Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 If somebody is going to use your win to assist in their own bidding strategy, it's more informative for them to know that you entered $50 as a bid amount than to have them 'fish' foward/back on their browser, testing various bid amounts, until they reach $50 to learn that this is the 'right' number to get to $65 all-in.
