Before looking at the hotels above...

PRICELINE is usually a little cheaper than HOTWIRE. However, HOTWIRE let's you know the amenities a hotel offers before your purchase and you can use this information to take an educated guess as to the hotel being offered... PRICELINE on the otherhand your subject to any hotel in the zone, but is typically a little cheaper.

For this stay what is most important to you... the lowest price or having a guess as to the hotel you may likely receive?

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Of course it would be nice to know hotel name before purchase, but price also counts. There is no need to pay much more in the same class hotel (4*) in the same area just to get known the hotel name.

It seems that Priceline takes higher commission (fees), am I correct?

Generally PRICELINE has slightly higher transaction fees than HOTWIRE, but not always.

You can see the grand totals including all fees prior to purchase on Priceline and Hotwire both.

If there's a Hotwire hotel you prefer most look at its grand total price, fees included, and that can set a ceiling for your Priceline bidding, fees included.

What are your travel dates?

Do you still want the Hotwire hotels ID'ed or you want to try Priceline?
