Rialb Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 I just received the same deal as this winning priceline bid for 7/26/10 - 7/28/10. Any info available for this property? I did use the PRICELINE link.

BacSi Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 I just received the same deal for 7/26/10 - 7/28/10. Any info available for this property? I did use the PRICELINE link.http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g1...rd_Holland.htmlYou will find a ton of reviews here for that hotel.I spent 14 nights there on a PRICELINE stay in Jan. Have not a word of complaint. In fact just about the only negativity you will see in the reviews comes from customers that paid 2x-4x more than what you paid. The PRICELINE winners I have seen have been very happy with this property. That free 15 min on the computer is a nice touch. They do not advertise this. Just ask at the front desk.Any questions just ask.
Rialb Posted March 18, 2010 Author Report Posted March 18, 2010 Thanks. I've stayed at the Marriott in the general area. For the price, about 50 Euro, it seems like a good deal. The only other NH hotel I've used is the nh Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Thanks for your input.
BacSi Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Thanks. I've stayed at the Marriott in the general area. For the price, about 50 Euro, it seems like a good deal. The only other NH hotel I've used is the nh Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Thanks for your input.Having spent a few weeks at the Marriott recently and 2 weeks at the AMS Centre I must say I enjoyed the AMS Centre more. And I say this as a fan of the Marriott. At least in my Jan stay the NH was as quiet and peaceful as any hotel I have stayed in. The lobby seemed more quite. The pace seemed slower. The Marriott by contrast had this busy feel at least on the lobby floor.Rooms? Marriotts are more modern for sure. But both IMO are equally nice. The NH will have an older feel to them. A little like the city itself. The TV at the Marriott is IMO better. Beds were both great. Bathrooms pretty close. The NH does have smoking rooms if that is an issue. All in all based on my Jan stay I would pick the NH over the M if price was not an issue. But not by a lot. I do like them both. But at the price you got ? Well case closed
