amys Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 Long time lurker & NYC PL bidder, first time assistance requester! One night stay, 4/2/10. My goal: 4 star in Downtown-Soho. Bid limit is $125 (hotel room is gravy; backup plan is to crash at my sister's place in Brooklyn). Would prefer to exhaust 4 star downtown bidding options before moving on to any other zone or star level.HOTWIRE is showing a match to the Smyth Hotel for $175. Millenium Hilton's website offers $179 prepaid & it's $199 via PRICELINE transparent site. Gild Hall coming up at $199 via hotel website & PRICELINE transparent. Others (Soho/Tribeca Grand, etc) are all over $200. Prices were about $40-50 lower a week ago, but I didn't bid... :) Understand & have used the free re-bid zones and will use the PRICELINE link to start!
