SYSTAR42 Posted March 15, 2010 Author Report Posted March 15, 2010 Dear boilerk,Could you tell me how to take the mass transportation from the O'Haire airport to Hyatt Regency Chicago. I also book a room the same time as you:)
AaronJB Posted March 15, 2010 Report Posted March 15, 2010 Congratulations on your success. :)Taking the "L" train from O'Hare is pretty easy: take the Blue Line CTA train from the stop at O'Hare airport (and O'Hare airport is the end of that line, so you can only go on trains headed towards the city, and the Blue Line is the only line that runs from O'Hare-to-downtown, so you can't take the wrong train) to the Clark/Lake station downtown and I'd either walk - it's a nice 5-7 minute walk the remainder of the way - or take a brief cab ride.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay
SYSTAR42 Posted March 15, 2010 Author Report Posted March 15, 2010 AaronJB, thanks very very much for your so nice instruction:)
SYSTAR42 Posted March 17, 2010 Author Report Posted March 17, 2010 Dear friends, i got a very big question now, I book the Hyatt Regency from priceline. however, i need to go to Saint Charles the next day. But i spend much time to search how can I get from Chicago downtown to Saint Charles Q center, but no results. I feel so fructrated about this :)
AaronJB Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 You would take the Metra Union Pacific West Line (schedule: http://metrarail.com/content/metra/en/home...-w_schedule.pdf) from Union Station downtown out to Geneva. St Charles is a little over 2 miles North of there. It would appear that this Pace bus (http://www.pacebus.com/pdf/maps/802map.pdf) runs from the Geneva Metra station to St. Charles, as does this one: http://www.pacebus.com/pdf/maps/801map.pdf Schedules are available at pacebus.com.This wouldn't be a complicated trip, but it's a long trip.
