I'm a frequent HOTWIRE / PRICELINE user. Wish I found this sooner.

Thanks to your San Fran info, I went with a 4* instead of the 4.5*. The 4.5* would have been the Intercontinental ($122/night); the 4* ($103) seemed likely to be the W or the Palace, either of which would please just as well.

I purchased the room; it was the Palace. The amenities matched your list exactly: Pool/ Restaurant/ Fitness/ Business/ Wi-fi. Many thanks. Dates again: March 31 - April 4.
