Priceline Hotel: Looking for a 4* in New York, CPS or MTE (4/20-4/28)

We are looking for a 4* hotel in New York from 4/20 up until 4/28, for 2 persons.

We have used PRICELINE before, and stayed in MTE (twice in the Int. Barclay hotel, which we liked a lot). As we like this area (it's relatively quiet, yet close to various subway stations and not too far away from the centre of Manhattan), we are looking to find a hotel there again.

We have been bidding on MTE and CPS for more than a month now, and bid up to 160 USD (excl. taxes), but sofar have not had any luck. We are sort of looking at HOTWIRE options for these areas too, but haven't really gone for that option yet.

We would like to book 1 hotel for the full period of 8 days, if possible. We're hesistant to bid on MTW, as chances seem pretty high that we end up in the Sheraton hotel, which gets quite bad reviews.

I'm assuming that Ink48 would be too far away from the subway? While not a 4* hotel, any interest in the Ramada New Yorker which has been receiving very good reviews since their recent renovation?
