I'll add that we usually don't recommend such low rated hotels in NYC. While there may some 2* hotels which you find acceptable, there may be others which are not, and with PRICELINE / HOTWIRE you can't choose which type you will get. There are also usually better values around, which appear to be the case here too, with much higher rated hotels available in nearby zone for just a little bit more... what exactly is it that you're looking for from this stay?

I am curious to know which hotel this could be.

Generally, I am aiming for at least 3* in MSW, MSE, UWS areas. Will be staying in Soho-Downtown area first during 5/21/10 to 5/25/10 before heading to Boston. Coming back to NYC on 5/29/10 for another 5 nights to focus on sightseeing and shopping in Midtown and Uptown areas.

If pirce.line / HOTWIRE please include the pertinent info in your post (star rating, city, zone, hotel name, room rate, dates, and if hotwire the amenities shown before your purchase)... if booked thru a 'non-opaque' source simply conclude your thread with the hotel you booked and state you booked direct.
