inspiration100
Found this crazy 2.5 star hotel on hotwire that had a tripadvisor review of 85% positive and 4 star on tripadvisor... Seemed to match your 3* Hotel Emona Aquaeductus so I took the risk.Happy with the results as the reviews are good. I think its a good deal for downtown Rome.Bingo. Won the Hotel Emona Aquaeductus for a 2.5* rating.Check-in Mon, May 24, 2010Check-outWed, May 26, 2010$129.00 Nights2Rooms:$258.00$54.45Total: $312.45Used the HOTWIRE Linkey! :)This does lead me to the question whether the HOTEL chooses the star rating or hotwire? Because there is no reason for the hotel to get downgraded to a 2.5* when it is at least a 3* or better... The Seattle hotel guy.... Stayed in 14 hotels downtown and counting! thereuare
Congratulations on your success!Glad to see you received the hotel you were hoping for and that you're happy with the results. Can you please add a reply to this thread with the amenities shown before your purchase... you can still view this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page.HOTWIRE is the one who determines the star rating and a hotel could be upgraded/downgraded based upon user feedback, elimination of certain amenities or by the upgrading/downgrading by another online service.Thank you for using our HOTWIRE link to begin your purchase and for sharing your results with the board, helping us update the Hotwire Hotel List with the new star rating for this property.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
