antonioa Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 My first bid was for $85 for a hotel in the Dupont Circle area. The bid was rejected and I was allowed to rebid instantly if I increased my bid by $22. I decided not to increase my bid by $22, and instead I added a new area (Capitol Hill). However, I did increase my bid to $88 ($3 increase). My bid of $88 was accepted and the tax was $20.16. My total charge is $108.16 for the Renaissance at Capitol Hill for April 4th. I probably should have lowered my bid from $85 to see if I could obtain a more favorable fair. However, my total price is okay for me given that its Capitol Hill is where I will need to be. I hope the Renaissance - Capitol Hill is nice.I used the PRICELINE link to purchase the ticket. Thanks for the tips here.
