schubes Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 I received an offer of $140 /nite for 4.0 star featuring Beachfront, Casino, Restaurant, Pools, Spa, Tennis. I am unsure if this is the Hilton or not? Travel date is 6/19. Should I wait a while longer?
thereuare Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding! The Hilton doesn't have a casino... this matches the Inter-Continental.With the Hilton having a rate of $175 and the Inter-Continental having a rate of $159 (non-refundable) i don't think that this is such a great deal and i would sooner wait to see if you can do better as your arrival date draws near.To be on the safe side, i would book a cancellable back-up while you continue to monitor rates. Please use THIS LINK for your Hotwire searches and purchases. schubes Posted February 1, 2005 Author Report Posted February 1, 2005 Thank you for your response. I will plan a backup and wait.
schubes Posted February 15, 2005 Author Report Posted February 15, 2005 Hotwire 4* San Juan $136/nite. Beachfront, restaurant, pool, spa, tennis, bus center. (No casino, no fitness). Cannot figure out which property. Doesn't match anything on the list. Can anyone identify, please.
schubes Posted February 16, 2005 Author Report Posted February 16, 2005 I am sorry, I just do not see the Intercontinental on your Puerto Rico list.....it is the same hotel again! Sorry. (What about the no casino part? Does the Intercontinental have a casino?)
thereuare Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 The reference to the Inter-Continental above was from their WEBSITE. However, the Inter-Continental is in the HOTWIRE HOTEL LIST (second post). The above HOTWIRE hotel has not yet been identified, but i would guess it's not in the Condado area, given the 'beachfront' amenity icon.
